CocoRosie Feat Gael Rakotondrabe , Celebrator Angels: 20 Years Unplugged EP

The 'Elevator Angels' EP revisits acoustic renditions of lo-fi treasures from the duo, such as 'Terrible Angels' from 'La Maison de Mon Rêve' and 'Beautiful Boyz' from 'Noah’s Ark', along with newer tracks like 'Villain' from the 2013 album 'Tales of a GrassWidow'. This EP sets the stage for a forthcoming acoustic album of the same name, featuring unreleased songs, all enhanced by the sublime touch of virtuoso pianist Gael Rakotondrabe, a long-time companion, arranger, and composer of some of their iconic tracks, such as 'Lemonade’.

Anohni and the Johnsons set first North American tour dates in years

For the first time in nearly a decade, Anohni will embark on a North American tour, this time backed by her group, the Johnsons. She will be joined by a 9 piece band including Gael Rakotondrabe (piano), Julia Kent (cello), Maxim Moston, Doug Wieselman (multi-instrumentalist) and Jimmy Hogarth (guitarist/producer). The tour dates mark Anohni’s first tour with the Johnsons since 2010.
